Disk Space
The amount of disk space allocated to your hosting plan is shared between your domains. Although each domain will share a portion of the disk space allocated to your plan, each domain will have its own private directory where its files will reside. You can increase your disk space or upgrade your hosting at any time.

Monthly Traffic
The amount of traffic allocated to your hosting plan is shared between your domains. Traffic includes site visits, ftp transfers, email traffic.

Mailboxes (POP3/SMTP Accounts)
Each hosting plan comes with a certain amount of mailboxes (depending on plan type). Mailboxes are actual email accounts on the server where you can recieve your email at, something like This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Redirects (Mail Forwards)
A redirect is is an email forward to an external email address. For example, you could create a redirect named This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and have it forward to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Also, you can set up more than one external recipient for your redirect. For example, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it could forward to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Mail Aliases
A mail alias is an email forward to an internal email account. For example, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it will forward to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Basically they serve as alternative names for one mailbox.

Mail Lists
Mail lists allow you to send mail to multiple users. Useful for sending out newsletters to your subcribers.

Autoresponders
Autoresonders are automatic responses that get sent out on email you recieve. Useful for something like "We've recieved your email and will be getting back to you shortly".

Mail Domain Aliases
Allows you to map all email on a domain alias to your main domain. All email accounts created on your main domain will be duplicated on your Domain Alias if this feature is enabled.

FrontPage Extensions
Required if you are going to be using MS FrontPage to build and publish your site. For the C-Class plan, there is a fee of $2.95 per month per domain for activating the extensions. On E-Class and above, FrontPage extensions activation is free.

Perl/CGI
Required if you are going to be using Perl/CGI scripts on your site. Examples of CGI scripts are FormMail, counters, boards, etc.

CGI Mapping
Allows you to execute files as Perl/CGI scripts.

PHP
Required if you are going to be using PHP scripts on your site.

Server Side Includes (SSI)
Allows you to create dynamic content for your pages. Such content can include the current date, the file's last modification date, and the size or last modification of other files. In its more advanced usage, it can provide a powerful interface to CGI scripts and /bin/sh programs.

Redirect URL
Allows you to set your site (or a subfolder of your site) to point to a different website. Useful if you have multiple domains that need the same content displayed on each.

MySQL
MySQL is the world's most popular open source database, recognized for its speed and reliability.

PGSQL
PGSQL is the world's most advanced open source database.

Domains
Each hosting plan comes with a limited amount of domains you can host on each plan. The C-Class and E-Class plans allow for one domain. The M-Class and above allow for multiple domains. You can, however, add additional domains to any hosting plan for an additional monthly fee ($0.75 for C-Class/E-Class & $0.50 for M-Class and above).

Subdomains
A subdomain is of the form subdomain.yourdomain.com.

Third Level Domains
A third level domain is a subdomain based on our name. For example: subdomain.helpinghost.com or subdomain.plainhost.com.

Parked Domains
A parked domain allows you to store your domain in your account without the need for hosting or email functionality.

Domain Aliases
A domain alias is like a "substition" for your domain name. If you have more than one domain you want to share the same content, you could set up domain1.com as the main domain, and add in domain2.com as the alias to domain1.com. The site would be accessible as domain1.com or domain2.com.

Domain Registration
Starting at $9.95 per year, you can register domains directly from within your control panel after your account has been created.

Webalizer Statistics
Webalizer is a graphical statistics tool which analyzes the transfer log and generates readable HTTP transfer reports.

Transfer Log
The Transfer Log stores combined data about every visit to your sites, including remote host IP (i.e. visitor's IP), time of request (i.e. when visitor requested the page), first line of request, etc.

Referrer Log
The Referrer Log stores the list of URLs from which visitors are referred to your site.

Agent Log
The Agent Log stores data about agents used to enter your site -- such as browsers or any other Internet-based software -- and all related data.

Error Log
The Error Log stores data about errors generated by the server (e.g. Page Not Found error) or by your CGI scripts. Helpful in debugging CGI script errors.

ModLogan Statistics
Modlogan is another grapical statistics tool which analyzes the transfer log and generates readable HTTP transfer reports. Modlogan is similar to Webalizer, but it also supports FTP, RealAudio and other protocols.

Urchin Statistics
Urchin is another graphical statistics tool which crunches log files, updates current report data, and creates detailed online reports. It can be configured to process anywhere from a single log file up to multiple log files residing across a network of web servers

Dedicated IP Address
Most websites are hosted on a shared IP address. A dedicated IP address would give your site its own unique IP address.

Virtual FTP
Allows you to give FTP access to more than one of your directories, specify a different set of permissions for each directory, etc.

Anonymous FTP
Allows you to let anybody else download, upload or view files in the dedicated directories of your website.

FTP Sub Accounts
Allows you to create additional logins and passwords to your directory so your friends or colleagues can independently use it without the need to create virtual FTP server and posess a dedicated IP.

SSL
Allows you to use the SSL module which encrypts confidential data (such as credit card numbers) for transmitting it over the Internet. This would add the "https" functionality to your site: https://yourdomain.com.

Shared SSL
Same as SSL, except you would be "sharing" our SSL certificate, hence no need to purchase a separate SSL certificate. The "SSL" portion of your site would be a Third Level Domain, i.e:https://yourdomain.helpinghost.com.

Directory Index
Allows you to set your own default "index" page. By default the server uses index.html as the "index" or "start" page of your website. With this feature you can set your own start page.

Throttle Control
Allows you to throttle your traffic. Throttle module is used to reduce the load on your bandwidth by delaying or refusing requests to your sites.

mnogoSearch
A simple search engine you can add to search your own site. Requires MySQL as well.

Site Studio
A tool to create a website without knowing web design principles or programming languages. Completely browser based, so no extra installation of separate software is required.

Hsphere Control Panel
Control Panel which you use to administrate all aspects of your website: email, ftp, disk usage, etc.

phpBB
PhpBB is a fully scalable and a customisable bulletin board package with a user-friendly interface, a simple administration panel, and helpful FAQ. Requires PHP and MySQL.

Custom DNS
You can create your own custom DNS records, directly from within the Hsphere control panel.

Crontab
Allows you to clock and run your own Unix shell scripts automatically, directly from within the Hsphere control panel.

Custom Error Docs
Error Document allows you to customize standard error messages coming from the web server.

Phone Support
Phone support is limited to the M-Class and above plans. For all plans, we are using the tools of the internet such as emails, trouble ticket sysetms, forums and bulletin board, slide show videos, and online help systems to be able to offer the lowest prices on the internet and save our customers money.

Site Backup
Features:
An easy to use domain backup/restore system that integrates with H-Sphere contol panel. Allows users to download a backup copy of all files in thier domain directory. When performing backups and restores of the data customers have all of the following option available to them:
Email Notification - Allows the user to have the server backup or restore the documents and notify the customer when the process is completed.
Delivery Options:
Web Browser - Enables the user to download or upload the backup files via the web browser.
FTP - Enables the user to download or upload the files via thier FTP account. The files are placed in thier home directory.
Remote FTP - Enables the user to use a remote FTP server to store their files. Backups can also be restored from a remote FTP server.

AW Stats
AWStats is a powerful and featureful tool that generates advanced web, streaming, ftp or mail server statistics, graphically. This log analyzer works as a CGI or from command line and shows you all possible information your log contains, in few graphical web pages.
