About Magento Hosting

Before we can get into details about what Magento Hosting is, perhaps we should first explain what is Magento for those of you who might be unsure.
Magento is an application which allows you to run an E-Commerce Store on your Website.
Magento is a piece of Software that runs on our Magento Hosting Server and provides you, the website owner, the tools to actually have a Magento E-Commerce Store on your website.

In the beginning, all you have is a Domainname like helpinghost.com ( you will get this domain name through so called Domain Registration ). This in itself means only that you are the owner of that name in the internet.

Now where your name is pointing to a Server you will probably see a Parking Page. This is like a placeholder which hopefully will be replaced by your own web pages soon.
