Changing file permissions

To follow the steps below, you need to login to your hosting control panel first!

You can change permission on files (often needed for CGI and PHP scripts) by using any FTP program. (please referr to the FTP programs help for details) or use the FileManager from inside your control panel.
Simply open the FileManager, navigate to the file/directory you would like the permissions changed on.
Click on the file.
On the right hand side you fill find "details" about the file including the permission settings.
