Our current ISP host has been unable to give any help in switching her website Nameserver IP numbers over to yours? Is there any other way that you know of that we can do this?

  Yes, there is one chance.
You can initiate a domain transfer here: http://www.helpinghost.com/domains.html
under "Change your Domain Registrar"
This only works if you have access to the administrative e-mail address of the domains whois record.
It will take a couple of days and includes a 1 year renewal.
Let us know if you need any help.
